Forever a treasured and respected member of the ICO family, Anand Seth passed away peacefully at his home on December 17, 2021.

Born in Nashipur, India, on October 16, 1945, Anand attended the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology in Allahabad before earning his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine in Orono.

His impressive career began at the Harvard School of Public Health, followed by twenty-four years as Director of Utilities and Engineering at Massachusetts General Hospital. After stints as the Northeast Regional President for NV5 and Engineering Principal at Cannon Design, he became Principal Emeritus of ICO Energy and Engineering in 2013. A valued resource and collaborative consultant, he provided invaluable knowledge and guidance in helping ICO expand its capabilities and grow as an organization.

A recipient of the ASHRAE Distinguished Service Award and the ASHRAE Lifetime Service Award, Anand dedicated himself to advancing the industry and mentoring those around him. Having touched the lives and careers of so many, his passion and compassion live on in every member of our team.
