Nick has over 20 years of experience as an engineering, commissioning, and energy professional, and currently manages ICO’s multidisciplinary energy consulting and engineering team.
He has in-depth experience in developing energy and capital master planning initiatives focused on energy reduction, increased reliability, operational optimization, carbon footprint management and commodity procurement services.
Prior to launching ICO Energy and Engineering, Nick was the Director of Energy Efficiency and Sustainability at SourceOne Energy Solutions where he built and managed a team of engineers, and lead the development and implementation of a full commissioning service offering.
Nick is a registered Professional Engineer with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, a U. S. Green Building Council LEED® Accredited Professional, a Certified Commissioning Professional, a Certified Energy Manager, and a Building Envelope Commissioning Professional. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University, and is a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Mechanical Engineering.
